So, I looked at my DeviantArt page, and noticed that my status says "DeviantArt Subscriber", which is kind of strange, seeing as how I never subscribed or payed for anything.
(before August, my account was abandoned for about 8 months)

42... I like that!
Did you know that it was the answer to life, the universe, and everything?

I did! I used to love that book so much :)
:iconirenata:
did you read all five? I liked the second (Restaurant at the End of the Universe) the best of them all; the restaurant bit with the prophet was great. :D

I read the first three. I started the fourth, but I didn't like it as much so I dropped it.
The Restaurant At The End Of The Universe was my favorite as well. I read it a while ago, so I can't remember which prophet you're talking about. I remember the guy who was preaching about the nose cult and 'the coming of the great white hankerchief' :D
:iconirenata:
Hmm... maybe that was it. I think it was seven minutes until the end of the universe and this religious group was present at the restaurant whose prophet still hasn't come (and he was definately supposed to, because world was coming to an end and they were running out of time). So he did appear, and then the universe ended in the middle of his speech. It's really better when you read it -- I'm not so good at telling it. Also the part where the cow was offering to cook parts of itself made me go vegetarian for about a week. I have all five books if you ever want to give them another shot; and I recently got the Salmon of Doubt, but I still have to read it. :)
